Trapped in those walls, she sits there so content
Never knows of things full of wonderment
She's glad where she is and wants nothing more
Than what's in those walls like the times before
Then on one fine day, a spider slipped through
The crack in the wall and spun a web, too
The web the spider wove was so detailed
Made her think of worlds she thought she knew well
"Tell me dear spider where do you come from?
How'd you get here and why do I feel numb?"
He answered, "You've not seen beyond that door?
A turn of that knob could be something more."
She turned to the door, affixed on the knob
Afraid of it, yet tempted to go on
"The only home I've ever known is here.
The outside is a place engulfed with fear."
The spider scurried down upon her hand.
Then he spoke like a falling grain of sand.
"Success was not made by being afraid.
It was made by being daring and brave
So step outside and teach them something new
Do not let fear ever stop or hurt you."
The girl walked to the door and turned the knob
Glancing back at him, he gave her a nod.
There is something in us that holds us back
But we can give ourselves* courage we lack.
*pronounced (ar-selves)
I wrote this poem about two months ago, when I was feeling bored and kinda sad. Dunno why I was feeling sad.
My Favorite Anime is Trinity Blood second is Naruto and so much more and still exploring. I have been watching anime for 5 years now and read manga for 4 years.
You are an assassin.
That means you are a proffessional and do your
job without mixing any emotions in it. In your
life you have probably been hurt many times and
have gotten some mental scars. This results in
you being distant from people. Though many
think that you are evil, you are not. What you
really are is a person, trying to forget your
pain and past. You are the person who never
seems to care and that is why being an assassin
fits you good. Atleast, that's what people
think. Even if you don't care that much for
your victims, you still have the ability to
care and to generally feel. It is not lost,
just a little forgotten. In crowds you tend to
not get to noticed, and dress in black or other
discrete colours. You don't being in the
spotlight and wish people would just leave you
alone. But once you do get close to someone you
have a hard time letting go and get real down
if you loose him/her.
